Hi everyone it's Melodee Morita, and this is my room tour tutorial. Recently, I've been working on an exciting project which I can't wait to reveal soon and I also emceed for this VIP event that the Prime Minister of Japan attended. So a lot has been going on but I'm finally back with a tutorial many of you have requested. I'd also like to send a huge thank you to all of my viewers around the globe who created subtitles for my past tutorials. My channel is now in eight different languages and I'm so so grateful to have you all. My room still needs work here and there but I hope you get to know me a bit more through this tutorial.
So let's begin! This is the over view of my bedroom. Because of my job as a TV reporter, director, and creator, I often have to wake up at 3 in the morning. And I've realized the importance of separating your sleeping zone and work zone in order to be wellrested and productive. So this is my other work room that has my computer, my dresser where I get ready, and a bed for when guests come over. I will show you around this room later on in this tutorial. Over here I have my bed with a paining on the wall, a dresser for my clothes, the lounging area
the bathroom, which I will show you in a minute, and my walkin closet. The bedding is from Bed Bath Beyond, and this really beautiful shimmery piece is actually a kimono obi (belt) But since I rarely ever wear it, I use it as an accent for the bed. On my bedside table I have this lamp that lights up when you touch it and a notebook that says, quot;ALWAYS PUT YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARDquot; I know it's really hard not to but using your phone or your computer right before sleeping prevents you from getting a good night's rest And I personally prefer writing things down, so I use this as my daily journal.
And there's my adopted doggy Lia right next to me. Then I have a dresser with a few decorative items on top. I mostly hang up my clothes, so in these drawers I just have my workout gear and plain tshirts. This is the area where I am if I want to relax, and I like to open up the windows for a nice breath of fresh air, but the lock handle for one of the windows actually broke and it comes off like this if I'm not careful So I need to get this fixed ASAP. I love aroma candles. This one is gorgeous when it's lit up. But it was very inexpensive since I got it from Target.
I like to read magazines, books, and hang out with Lia if I have free time. I keep little things hidden away in this box that says quot;love what you doquot; I have a remote controller to get my GearBest vacuum cleaner going because Lia's short hair does get on the floor, and this does a wonderful job cleaning everything up with both wet and dry functions on its own. Next is my bathroom. I will also show you some of my current skincare favorites. I like to keep the counter minimal and clutter free, so everything is put away except for my hand soap
and Philips Sonicare that I purchased. Some of you asked how I get my teeth white on my Instagram photos so this is what I use. It originally came with this huge brush head on the left but I found and bought this small tooth brush head online which I think makes brushing your teeth so much more effective. You can get into all the corners and I feel like this has helped my teeth get whiter and brighter.
